Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) is an organization consisting of wives of Civil Servants (PNS) who are engaged in Education, Environment, Economics and Socio-Cultural fields. The establishment of DWP aims to improve the resources quality of PNS family members to achieve national welfare. DWP also carries out several main tasks, namely the task of developing members, strengthening unity and integrity, increasing abilities and knowledge, establishing cooperative relationships with various parties, as well as increasing social awareness and carrying out mental and spiritual development of members to become human beings who are devoted to God Almighty, good personality, and virtuous character.

The achievement of these goals and main tasks needs to be supported by well-planned and structured activities. DWP UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi, which is one of the DWP organizations under the Ministry of Religion, is determined to make it happen by carrying out work programs that have been well structured.

The work programs of DWP UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi are spread across three fields, such as Education, Environment, Economics and Socio-Cultural. One of the activities that have been routinely carried out in the social sector is Friday Sharing. This activity shares 60 boxes of meal which is held every two weeks on Fridays at the Al Jami'ah Mosque at UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi at Telanaipura Campus. The target recipients of the meal boxes are the ones coming to do Jumat Praying. The purpose of this social activity is a form of concern for others in overcoming hunger in the UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi campus to achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

The Friday Sharing implementation system is shared in a schedule system. The one who implement this is the management of the DWP UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi, where there are 3 people for each schedule. In addition to the DWP management, students who are members of the Volunteer Corps of UIN STS Jambi (KSR) are also assisted. The Socio-Cultural Sector received donations or voluntary donations from the management and members of DWP UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi and from donation from the academic community on campus and even from outside parties who wanted to participate in Friday Sharing activities. Donations can be channeled to the SosBud Account of DWP UIN STS Jambi, under the bank of BSI: 7137838127 on behalf of Siti Raudhatul Jannah. The hope of the DWP management of UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi is to be able to give more meal boxes to residents in and around the UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi Campus, so that people inside and outside the campus feel that UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi really cares about the environment.
