Information Technology and Database Unit at UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi is holding a collaboration with GasNet in establishing student discussion corner with an academic nuance by prioritizing eco-friendly principles. This place focuses on supporting students’ academic activities facilitated with free access to electricity and wi-fi sources equipped with ergonomic, cozy, and clean seats.
In 2021, there has been one spot of this discussion corner and is expected to improve in 2022 in each faculty. Every student and staff get equal access to these facilities to avoid the social gap. 
This program, implemented by the Information Technology and Database Unit, also supports the students’ digital literacy awareness by giving free access to wi-fi. The location is chosen considering its strategic location where the university library is located, and it can accommodate up to 20 students at once.
