In commemoration of National Farmers Day, the Rector of UIN STS Jambi visited the first harvest of melons from the Makmur Jaya Hydro farmer group in the Penyengat Bawah area, Telanaipura Jambi. The Rector gave an appreciation for the success of melon harvest stating the visit to be very valuable for the campus since UIN STS Jambi owns a very large portion of land. The land is planned to be planted with fruit and vegetables covering an area of ​​1.5 to 2 hectares establish the spirit of entrepreneurship and land cultivation.
