UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi has just held the preparation meeting via zoom with the agenda of the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings National Workshop which will be participated by Islamic Higher Education from all over Indonesia. This National Workshop program is one of the Higher Education Institution preliminary steps in realizing the Green Campus Program. This Program hold six criteria such as, 1) Setting and Infrastructure; 2) Energy and Climate Change; 3) Waste; 4) Water; 5) Transportation; and 6) Education and Reserch.

This National Workshop will be held on June, 8^th 2022 based on the meeting results which was held on March 31^st 2022. The meeting also results that there will be six main speakers from 6 Islamic Higher Education Institutions, in accordance to UI GreenMetric assessment including UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi, Muhammadiyah Education University Sorong, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Ahmad Dahlan University, Muhammadiyah University Malang, and Sultan Agung Islamic University. According to Bayu Kurniawan, S.Si., M.Sc as the Chair of Conservation and Biological Resources Study Center and as PIC of GreenMetric, UIN STS Jambi has been appointed to host this year's workshop since 2021. This activity is a big event and becomes an annual routine, UIN STS Jambi is the third Public Islamic Higher Educational Institution since 2020 after the Covid-19 pandemic that conducts online workshops.

The National Workshop preparation meeting was attended by the Committee from UIN STS Jambi. They are Bayu Kurniawan, S.Si., M.Sc., Aini Qomariah Manurung, M.Sc., Ahmad Syukron Prasaja, M.Sc., Imam Arifaillah SH, M.Sc., Latusi Anggriani, M.Sc., Fevi Mawaddah P, M.Sc., Evan Vria Andesmora, M.Sc., Widia Bela Oktaviani, M.BioMed., Sean Popo Hadi, and Sri Ramdayeni Sakunti, M.Sc.Ed. This activity was also attended by Prof. Dr. Ir. Riri Fitri Sari, M.Sc as Chairperson of UI GreenMetric, Junaidi, MM as Vice-Chair of Program, Communication and Partnership UI GreenMetric, Hestin, S.Si., and Sabrina Hikmah, S.Si.
