Lecturer in Biology at UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi became a guest speaker at the 2023 Scout Camp event which was held in Maro Sebo Village, Muaro Jambi Waste Bank Management and Eco-Enzyme Workshop with the theme "Scouting Serves, Works and Innovates as a Locomotive of Change" (23/02/ 2023).

This activity is a commemoration of National Waste Care Day which falls on February 21, 2023 which is organized by the Scout Movement of UIN Sutha Jambi.

Waste production is increasing day by day but must also be accompanied by sustainable management. In this activity, Bayu Kurniawan, S.Sc., M.Sc (Chair of the Center for Conservation and Biological Resources Studies) presented material on "Organic Waste Management into Sustainable Eco-Enzyme". In addition, resource person Aini Qomariah Manurung, S.Sc., M.Sc (Secretary of the Center for Conservation and Biological Resources Studies) was also present with a presentation on "the role of Ms. PKK in building awareness of caring for inorganic waste".
This activity also involved Ambassador Green Sutha and a Biology Lecturer (Fevi Mawadhah Putri, M.Sc) at UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi who directly practiced making Eco Enzyme.

It is hoped that this activity will become a Training of Trainer for the wider community, especially the people of Maro Sebo Village, Muaro Jambi, who continue to have a commitment to dealing with both organic and inorganic waste.
